The sun was bright and warm, heating your tender soft skin. You herd the birds tweeting a sweet melody in the rhythm of the waves crashing onto the shore. The warm and crunched and shaped around your bare feet, leaving a trail of footprints behind you. Even though you couldn't see, the beach was still a beautiful place that soothed the soul. You had been born into the world blind and your parents had always looked down on you like it was your fault. They adored your older sister, just because she was able to do the things you couldn't. She would always tease you and make fun of your blindness, always tripping you over, telling you to watch out even nothing was there and doing things in front of you to make you look stupid. You felt all alone, ashamed of yourself. Until your now best friend Alfred came into your life. He stood up for you and never left your side, helping you when in need like the 'hero' should, as he put it. He loved you dearly and you could tell but it wasn't the way that you love him. Who would fall in love with a useless blind chick who could hardly do anything by herself. But he still looked after you protecting you from any harm. You trusted him with your life even though there wasn't really anything special about it. Besides him of coarse. After weeks and weeks of nagging you had showed him what you were most ashamed off, your grey eyes. Alfred exclaimed to you about how beautiful they were but you couldn't bring yourself to believe them. 'He's probably;y just trying to make me feel better' but you smiled all the same.

"Hey,_______!"

You quickly turned around as you were pulled out of your thoughts, facing to were the voice had came from. Your (h/l) (h/c) blew softly in the wind as you herd someone running up to you and you would recognize that someone from any where. It was Alfred. You smiled as he came closer towards you.

"Hi Alfred~" You said cheerily, as you waved to him.

"Haha you sure get around well for someone who can't see you know that. It's like you can see perfectly! Come on I'll walk you down the beach"

Alfred walked up to you and gently took your hand, you blushed soon as your hands touched. He did it daily but it was just to lead you around, a lot of people asked if we were going out and Alfred would say 'Nah were just friends'. Every time he said that your heart thunk a little more. You guys were always going to be 'Just Friends', Right?

Wrong. And you were going to find out sooner than you expected.

The two of you walked along the beach talking about how each other were going and you were telling him about you learning piano, very slowly, when he suddenly stopped. You felt him bend over and obviously pick some thing up as he asked you to put out your hands. You did what he asked as he placed an item on your palms. You felt the shape and assumed it was a shell as you put it to your ear. Hearing the waves gently crash and tumble on the shore, you closed your eyes in pure bless.

"It seems like a beautiful shell, what color is it Alfred?"

"Ahh It's amazing _______! It's blue with a purple shimmer! You would look great if you wore it as a necklace"

You knew when ever he lied to you.




But it was only to protect you from the horrible world which held so many judging eyes.

He had always done it, Like that time you would never forget.

You herd some boys making fun of you as Alfred's hand tighten around your own.

"Those guys are making fun of me, aren't they Alfred" You told him bluntly.

You felt Alfred jump at your remark as he started to studer on his words.

"Oh,no.Nononononononono, they ahh... Were just laughing at a guy who ahh... said you were hot but because you were way to out of his league they laughed at him~"

You jump as you feel Alfreds hands tightly cup your face.

"Don't ever, say that again!"

You were frozen in shock unable to move. Your heart thumping loudly throughout your whole body. You were so close to him right now, your cheeks started to tint pink as your face rose in temperature.

"Your the best thing that has ever happened to me..."

It was silent, which you hated. You didn't know what was happening but then you felt your specially tinted glasses sliding down your nose. Your hands shot up in defense mode, holding your glasses in place.

"Please, I'm begging you. Please let me see them again"

Your light blush turned into a deep crimstone red, you let out a shaky sigh and remove your hands from your glasses. Placing them on Alfreds arms for some extra support. He slowly slid the glasses of your face but soon as he pulled them of you went but to defense mode and turned your face away hiding your eyes.

"_______" Alfred barley whispered to you.


His hands gently cupped you face this time, slowly turning your face towards him, revealing your grey eyes to him once more. Your hands tightened on his arms, preparing for his response.

"You're so beautiful _______. I still wonder why you hide those beautiful grey eyes. Every time I look into them I get lost, deep inside them".

You weakly smiled at him, you had never herd such a lovely compliment towards yourself. A tear manage to escape the pool that had from in your delicate eyes, gliding down your face. Only to be gently wiped away by the American holding you.

"______, you mean so much to me. Your not a burden and you never will be because you are my treasure. I-I-..... I love you _____"

Your face heated up even more, if it was possible and your eyes opened wide. "I,I,I" You were speechless, he loved you back the same way you loved him! You manage to studder out the words that you had been holding back for so long. "I love you too". I huge pressure was released off your chest, as you finally got comfortable in Alfreds arms.

You felt Alfred come towards your face, you closed your eyes as your lips brushed each other. By now your stomach was doing flips and twirls as he moved forward that extra bit, bringing you lips together. You wrapped your arms around his neck as his arms wandered down and snaked around your hips. The two of you moved in think with each other until the lack of air tore the two of you apart. You leaned your forehead against his as you both smiled like crazy.

"Now you really are my treasure and my treasure only"

With that he quickly picked you up bridal style making you squeak in surprise.

"Where are we going?"

He laughed that signature laugh you loved so much.

"Hahahaha, the hero always get the girl"

"Well I'm sorry Mr. Hero but that doesn't answer my question"

"Well to my house of coarse~"

"What will we be doing there?"

A devilish smile wiped across Alfred face, " Oh don't worry, you'll see. My sweet _____"
